Communications Full-Time Faculty

Chesapeake College invites applicants for a ten-month faculty position beginning August 2025. 
 
The position is responsible for teaching sections of Foundations of Oral and Organizational Communications in face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities. Candidates will be expected to teach both day and night class, on the main campus at Wye Mills, at the Cambridge Center, and in dedicated classes at high schools across our five-county service area as needed.
Other responsibilities include course level assessment, curriculum design, working in conjunction with course leads, and committee service.

Your rank and salary would be based on your education, other credentials, years of teaching, and related experience.

Please note that this position is in the full-time faculty bargaining unit, which is represented by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Maryland.
