Job Description Summary

Assistant Teaching Professor/Assistant Lecturer (non tenure-track) position starting for the Fall semester 2025.

Job Description

This position will provide quality teaching primarily in Market Research and Data Analytics at the undergraduate level, advise students, and provide service to the profession and university.

Marketing in today’s environment with numerous large and real-time data sets requires new analytic skills. This class focuses on analytical research methods utilized by marketers to better understand the markets in which they compete; the categories, competition, channels, and consumers that comprise their risks and growth opportunities. Students will be equipped to move at the speed of data availability, address complexity and ambiguities in information, quickly respond with research analyses, and develop actionable conclusions with recommendations.

The Department of Marketing is in the Farmer School of Business, and currently has approximately 350 graduates per year, consists of approximately 28 faculty members made up of tenure/tenure-track, teaching and clinical faculty and visiting faculty. The Farmer School ranks in the top 10 for undergraduate business education.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. Master’s degree in Marketing or a closely related field by the date of appointment for rank of Assistant Lecturer.

Consideration may be given to candidates with proven collegiate teaching experience, particularly in market research and data analytics, will be given special consideration.
