Job Description:
University of Baltimore—The School of Criminal Justice in the College of Public Affairs invites applications for a lecturer in the Forensic Studies program to begin in fall 2025 (pending final budget approval).

Candidates for the position should hold a Master’s degree or higher related to forensic investigations, and have professional experience in law enforcement or a closely related field. Candidates should be intimately familiar with crime scene investigation techniques and forensic documentation procedures. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence using modern pedagogical approaches and fostering a learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and guiding students in both their academic and professional development.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach eight courses per academic year (4 per semester) and will be required to be an active member of the faculty. In addition to evidence of effective instruction, the ideal candidate is also able to demonstrate experience in, or potential for, service relevant to the university, the profession, and the community.
