Snack Bar Attendant
An opening for Snack Bar Attendant in Paresky, Whitmans, 35 hours weekly, 10 months academic year, reporting to Operations and Technology Manager is now available. The schedule will be Saturday through Wednesday 6:30 pm - 2:00 am with Thursday and Friday off. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Working under the daily supervision of the Manager, you will be responsible for food production, cash handling, and customer service. Specific duties include preparing individual menu items for customer orders; sanitizing equipment, food preparation; restocking inventories as needed; and assisting in opening/closing the food production and dining areas.
You should possess strong customer service skills and enjoy a food service environment. This position requires the ability to work on a grill, use basic math skills, handle a flexible schedule, stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds. The ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional manner is essential. Kitchen experience and general knowledge of food service preferred.
Pay starts at $21.00 per hour.
