Description: This position will be responsible for managing the overall operations of student financial services for undergraduate, graduate and high school dual enrolled students. This includes supervising the billing, receivables, and cashiering functions of the College for student accounts, miscellaneous income and processing of financial aid and gift deposits. A key component of this position will be coordinating the operation and maintaining the configuration of the enterprise software programs for accounts receivable as well as coordinating pricing, policy and communications for student financial services.  Furthermore this position will prepare monthly ledger reconciliations and annual IRS reporting requirements.

 

 

 

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.  Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting. Prior experience with ERP systems, accounts receivable, cashiering and collections is preferred. In addition, the qualified candidate must have the ability to consistently apply GAAP accounting concepts to a variety of different situations. Requires the ability to learn departmental and College policies and execute detailed instructions in an organized manner. Must possess strong analytical, decision-making, and communications skills.
