Basic Function
This is a professional expert, short term temporary hourly opportunity.
The Kern Community College District's is seeking Trainers / Instructors with general construction and crew leadership to teach in our construction training program. Broad knowledge of construction and construction safety and prior training experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
An contractor's license, associate's degree or bachelor's degree desirable.
Knowledge and Abilities
ABILITY TO:
- Meet schedules and timelines.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Travel as required
- Establish good working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations and facilitate inter-organizational cooperation.
- Learn College and District organization and applicable operations, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize internet research, computer word processing, electronic mail, and spreadsheet programs.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
