Financial Aid and Scholarships at Texas State University seeks a systems support analyst and financial aid professional to maintain and enhance the Ellucian/Banner-Financial Aid system.
Job Duties
Reporting to the Systems Support Analyst Supervisor of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Systems Support Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Ellucian/Banner-Financial Aid and other related IT systems within Financial Aid and Scholarships. In addition, this position is charged with providing analysis of future system business needs, effectively developing and executing a plan to implement system enhancements, performing quality control measures to address system compliance, and ensuring data integrity. The Systems Support Analyst is also responsible for developing queries (using Ellucian/Banner rules, SQL, and PL/ SQL ), providing system data and related reports, as well as conducting job-related research.
The Systems Support Analyst will work collaboratively with financial aid staff, IT staff, and other departments to maintain the financial aid processes in the Ellucian/Banner system. This position is responsible for the design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of software and reports. The Systems Support Analyst must also keep abreast of all pertinent Ellucian/Banner and related IT system updates, as well as federal and state aid regulatory changes, to ensure compliance, excellent customer service, and business efficiency.
Additional Information to Applicants
Flexible schedules available, including part-time remote and four-day work weeks. Occasional overnight travel and work beyond normal 8-5 business hours may be required during peak business periods.
