The English department is home to multiple undergraduate programs including Creative Writing, Film, English Education, Literary Studies, and Rhetoric and Technical Writing. The English department also offers an M.A. program with concentrations in Literary Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, and Teaching Literature and Writing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. Teaching load is 3/3, provided faculty produce at least 2 peer-reviewed publications (or equivalent) every 3 years. Service expectations include advising students, participating in committee work, and other related service activities.
Faculty member’s must be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching with the ability to teach introductory as well as major-specific and graduate courses. Pedagogies that support students of all backgrounds are highly encouraged.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
