Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for part-time faculty for Academic Year 2024-2025. The successful candidate will teach up to a maximum of nine credit hours per semester, as needed, in undergraduate courses for general education and Dept. of MTST programs. Applicants should hold an earned Master's degree in Mathematics, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level Mathematics, from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution at the time of appointment. Candidate is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students and the university community. The position begins August 19, 2024.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree is required in Mathematics, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution.

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
