Position Summary:
The Instructional Designer provides support services to faculty in the design of courses which are dynamic and collaborative and ensures course quality and completion of assessment activities. The Instructional Designer provides instructional design and training services to faculty, facilitates research of new technologies and best practices, and participates in professional development activities. The Instructional Designer will be an active member of the campus community and participate in institutional initiatives that support educational pedagogy and services.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or field related to hiring unit.
- One (1) year of experience with a LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas.
- Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Two (2) years of experience with multimedia applications such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences using various communication methods.
- Experience with word processing, email, and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with internet browsers and effectively utilizing the internet.
