Professor (Open Rank), School of Accountancy, W. P. Carey School of Business

The School of Accountancy in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for an open rank tenure track position at the assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor level commencing Fall 2025.  Rank will be determined on experience and record of achievement.

Essential Functions: The candidate must contribute to the School of Accountancy’s mission in the areas of research and teaching. Research must be publishable in premier academic journals in accounting or a closely related field. The candidate must be able to contribute to curriculum development and deliver excellent in-class instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1) A PhD in accounting or a closely related field; ABD candidates must have earned or be close to earning the PhD by the position start date;

2) A record of research excellence and a promising research agenda;

3) A demonstrated record of teaching experience with potential for excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated research expertise and teaching potential in the area of financial accounting.
