You will be responsible for creating and editing dynamic content that will generate interest in and raise the profile of our vibrant university. This role is a rare opportunity to make your mark—literally—on the university’s future.
Position Overview:

Successful candidates will have experience writing and editing content for multiple platforms, content areas, and audiences and enjoy collaborating with design, marketing, communications, and advancement experts to create distinctive and memorable content for the university. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who can easily switch between projects and voices in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing
Copywriting for all key undergraduate, graduate, and other enrollment materials. Drafting key e-mail and other communications that educate prospective students about Wentworth and help them take different actions at different stages of the customer/student journey. University Communications
Drafting press releases for university achievements, headlines for digital marketing ads, university-wide communications, and copy to bring new degrees or programs to life across different media, such as websites, news articles, and brochures. The ideal candidate can quickly interview (virtually or in person) students, faculty, staff, and alumni and create interesting storylines, in the form of news articles, content features, or copy that might be used across multiple media/touchpoints to bring accurate and engaging content to build on the reputation of the university.
Advancement
Copywriting for advancement materials, including annual stewardship reports and appeals, that effectively and succinctly “makes the case” for supporting Wentworth and communicates the value and impact of supporting the university. The ideal candidate brings experience writing for alumni, families, industry partners, and donors and can easily edit copy to appeal to these different segments.
Required Qualifications:
