Position Summary
TRINITY COLLEGE (Hartford, Connecticut) and the department of anthropology, invite applicants for a full-time, long-term lecturer in CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY . This position comes with a three-year renewable contract that is then renewable every five years thereafter. Annually, candidates will teach three sections of “ANTH 101: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology” and two courses in their own field of research. The position has a five-course annual load. The college also offers ample opportunity and support for scholarly research.

Qualifications
The candidate should demonstrate synergy with the department’s current interests in environment, development, gender, religion, museums, and health. Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of the appointment and have some teaching experience. Successful candidates will have a strong background in current theories of and trends in cultural anthropology
