Applicants must have credentials and experience commensurate with appointments at
these rank levels.

Candidates for tenure system positions must hold a PhD or have a definite plan for
completion of dissertation prior to the date of employment. Candidates for Professor
and Associate Professor must qualify for tenure at the Freeman School. A primary
consideration for these positions are collegiality and teaching excellence. Ultimate
recruitment for these positions are subject to final budgetary approval by the
