The Fuqua School of Business
The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University invites applicants
for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant
professor with appointments beginning July 1, 2025, subject to
university approval. Possible openings could be in any of the
following academic areas: accounting, decision sciences, finance,
management and organizations, marketing, and operations management.
Although our focus is on hiring candidates at the rank of assistant
professor, in cases of extraordinary fit we will consider other
academic areas or more senior ranks.
Qualifications required include a demonstrated interest in and
capacity to do very high-quality publishable research, and a high
level of teaching competence in our graduate programs. Candidates
are expected to hold a doctoral degree or have completed it by the
appointment date. Hiring decisions will be based on the candidate's
ability to contribute to the research and teaching missions of the
Fuqua School of Business.
