Description
The Department of Management has a full-time tenure track position available beginning August, 2025.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting scholarly research in the area of entrepreneurship and/or strategy, and service to the university and profession.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: PhD in entrepreneurship, strategic management or other business-related field from an accredited college or university. ( ABD near completion at time of application will be considered but degree must be completed by date of appointment.)
Experience: Evidence of scholarly research and teaching experience in business-related field.
Teaching: At least one semester (four months) of higher education teaching experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, management or other business-related field.
Authorization to work in the US
Employer will consider sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching: Full time teaching experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, or other business-related field at the university level, including teaching experience with new technologies.
Education: PhD in entrepreneurship or strategy from an accredited college or university.
Research: Significant record of publications in refereed journals in entrepreneurship, strategy or management area.
Required Certifications/Licensures
Completed doctorate by date of appointment from an accredited institution of higher education in a field of study approved by the department chairperson and college dean is expected in order to be eligible for a tenure track position recommendation. Tenure is not automatic but depends upon excellent performance, budgetary consideration, tenure density, and the needs of the university.
