Position Function
Provide administrative support for student organization development, training for student organization leaders and advisors on policies, processes, and procedures, and oversight of the annual student organization recognition process including Benny Link.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college by the date of appointment.
Minimum Experience
Student organization involvement.
Minimum Other
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college by start date in student affairs, college student personnel, higher education administration, counseling, communications or a related field.
Preferred Experience
One year of experience working in higher education settings with college students and student organizations; excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Other
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check.

Provide training and resources to all 400+ student organizations to ensure student participants, leaders, and organizations learn about and proactively manage risk, comply with university policies and procedures, safety and travel protocols and best practices for student-led programs and experiences.

Coordinate leadership development experiences for student organization leaders including the Student Organization Presidents’ Retreat, and monthly student leader/advisor training workshops.

Oversee the distribution of all Student Organization Funding from the Student Organization Funding Allocation Committee. Serve as the primary contact to track all student organization budgets using university funds.
