Description
The Sport Management Department of Flagler College is seeking to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions. These part-time positions will be required teach in-person classes on our main campus in downtown St. Augustine. The candidates would be able to teach courses a variety of courses in the curriculum including but not limited to: NCAA/College Athletics, Facilities/Event Management, Sport Law, Sport Governance, Sport Administration, Sport Ethics, and Introduction to Sport Management. The instructor's primary responsibilities are to create an active learning environment that supports students in developing their understanding of course material.
Qualifications
Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in Sport Management. Someone qualified to teach a variety of sport management courses with a flexible schedule, the a bility to work cooperatively with all stakeholders, e xcellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge of course content, and e xperience with learning management systems (i.e., Canvas) is preferred but not required, e xperience teaching and in industry are preferred but not required.
