Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Executive Director of Admissions & Enrollment at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the university's admissions and enrollment processes. This key position directs the development and execution of comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with EKU's mission, aiming to attract and enroll a well-rounded and qualified student body. The Executive Director will manage and optimize marketing, recruitment budgets, and data-driven initiatives to effectively target prospective students across traditional and non-traditional student groups. Additionally, the role involves maintaining high admissions standards, streamlining communication strategies across multiple student populations (first-year, transfer, adult learner, etc.), and leading a team to implement innovative recruitment practices and technologies. The Executive Director of Admissions & Enrollment plays a crucial role in supporting EKU's strategic enrollment goals and ensuring the success and efficiency of the recruitment and admissions functions. This position will oversee the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Adult and Transfer Center, and Student Experience & Recruitment Innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree is required

Experience: - Five (5) years of progressive experience as an enrollment manager.
- Technological Savvy: Proficiency in using student information systems such as Ellucian Banner, CRM systems like Slate and other relevant software.

Job Duties:

• 25% - Direct day-to-day recruitment and enrollment activities across all student populations, utilizing a data-driven approach to meet strategic goals. - (Essential)
• 25% - Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies. Analyze market data to refine tactics and enhance the effectiveness of recruitment efforts. - (Essential)
• 25% - Lead staff development initiatives, conduct performance appraisals, and oversee training to build a highly skilled admissions team. - (Essential)
• 15% - Guide partnerships to implement emerging strategies across college, advising, community based organization, and programs entities, leveraging technology for efficient processes. - (Essential)
• 10% - Employ statistical analysis and data trends to guide decisions and improve recruitment outcomes. Ensure technology tools like Ellucian Banner are effectively utilized. - (Essential)
