The mission of the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development is to contribute to a just and sustainable future through engagement with local and global communities to enhance human learning and development at all stages of the life span.

Our faculty continuously exceeds $40M annually in sponsored research and are supported by an infrastructure and culture that turns research into action, shortens the research-practice pipeline, and finds avenues for real-world application. The college builds partnerships locally, nationally and globally to ensure our faculty’s work leads to improved health and education outcomes for all. With over 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled, CEHD faculty engage with future leaders across seven academic departments in the heart of the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.
