We are currently seeking to fill our Program Coordinator (Credentialing) position at the Georgia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Office of Clinical Education is seeking to hire a qualified individual as their Program Coordinator (Credentialing). Under minimal supervision, this position will report directly to the Director of Clinical Education, provide high level administrative and operational support to the DO Student Body, the Office of Clinical Education, and all related partners.
This team member is directly responsible for managing student and clinical faculty credentials, serves as the first point of contact for all students, faculty, affiliate partners and outside members of the PCOM Georgia community and assists with all matters related to student and physician credentialing with respect to clinical rotations and accreditation standards. The Program Coordinator liaises with and maintains strong, effective communication across all internal and external networks. This team member works closely with the Student and Resident Medical Records Office for credentialing all third and fourth year students. This position is also responsible for creating and managing multiple platform and technical components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Credentialing
• Responsible for the capture of all required criminal and miscellaneous credentialing elements needed for rotations through eValue.
• Work with Student and Resident Medical Records to ensure seamless transition of student’s medical records from M3 to M4 with respect to partner requirements and rotation start dates.
• Perform regular audits to ensure all credentials are up to date and meet institutional and partner accreditation standards and compliance measures.
• Create and implement a manual procedure for submitting 100+ core credentialing packets to partners for student’s core rotations on a monthly basis.
• Expand use of existing platforms to automate manual process.
• Anticipate and proactively plan for submission of all core and elective credentials for students.
• Create and implement streamlined procedures that help to automate the credentialing process.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Hours
• Position hours 8:30-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with altered hours required on occasion for special functions.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree preferred .
• Five years progressive experience in lieu of education will be considered
Experience
• A minimum of three years’ experience as an administrative assistant in a fast-paced office with preference given to college or university environment.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suit of products is required.
• Experience using Banner, E-Value and Blackboard preferred.
The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
