Two Assistant/Associate Professor Positions in Finance

 

The Finance and Economics Department of Rutgers Business School at Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University, is seeking two full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (without tenure), subject to funding availability.

 

Requirements
Candidates must already have a Ph.D. in finance or economics, a track record of publications in top-tier finance and economics journals and demonstrated effective teaching at the university level. The successful candidate is one with scholarly activities in empirical asset pricing or corporate finance and has strong econometric skills.  

 

Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to teach in Department undergraduate and graduate programs, especially Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Asset Pricing, Derivatives, Analysis of Fixed Income, and Econometrics.  Applicants who seek more information about this position should contact the Department Chairman & the Thomas A. The Finance and Economics Department has 45 full-time faculty members. Rutgers

Business School offers BS, MBA, Master of Quantitative Finance, Master of Financial Analysis, Master of Science in Business of Fashion and Ph.D. programs that include finance and applied economics concentrations. The Department houses the Whitcomb Center for Research in Financial Services and the Center for Real Estate. Faculty members are expected to teach on both Newark and New Brunswick campuses if needed. The location of the office will be negotiated with the RBS Dean and Department Chair.
