Job Details
The Ithaca College School of Business invites applications for a full-time tenure eligible Assistant Professor in Finance beginning Fall 2025. Duties include teaching assigned classes in finance (five courses per year); conducting impactful research; participating in service to the institution and profession; and advising students. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in investment and corporate finance topics, ranging from the fundamentals of business finance and investing to specific areas such as Fixed Income/Equity Valuation, Portfolio Management, Alternative Assets and subsets therein such as Private Equity or REITs.

Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Finance. ABDs with an expected completion date of Aug. 2025 may also be considered. Recent industry experience in investment is desirable. We prefer candidates who have a record of successful college teaching, including a commitment to inclusive and accessible pedagogies. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of a developing research program and a plan for continuing that program into the future. This will include sufficient research activity to establish or maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) qualification.

Hiring Range:
$136,000 - $145,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
