Lecturer of Marketing
Department of Marketing and Professional Sales
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Marketing in the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales with a preferred start date of January 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate courses such as advertising, digital and social media, agency relations, applied IMC, and public relations.
- Active engagement and networking with potential partners for collaborations supporting the department and students.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications Include
- A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Communications, Business Administration or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should demonstrate the capacity to effectively teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, build relationships with corporate partners and be engaged in other departmental activities.
Preferred Qualifications Include
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant teaching experience at the university level.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
