The Career Center Program Associate provides organizational support
for all Career Center initiatives. The primary focus of the
position is on supporting the planning, implementing, and
evaluating of all activities related to the provision of on campus
recruiting and employer/alumni relationship building. The Program
Assistant will also oversee and administer the implementation of a
comprehensive On-Campus Interviewing program and contribute to the
employer relations philosophy at UNC Asheville through employer
assessment and evaluation.
Reporting to the Associate Director for Employer Relations, the Career Center Program Associate supports all recruiting activities at UNC Asheville including: employer utilization of Handshake, coordinating employer visits to campus, and arranging travel for both the Associate Director for Employer Relations and visiting employers. Outside of recruiting initiatives, the Program Associate supports organizational and detailed tasks for the Career Center and student employment as a whole inclusive of event planning, ordering supplies, arranging catering, and completing financial transactions.
