Accounting and Management: financial reporting and analysis, management accounting, corporate governance, performance measurement and management control systems. Closing date: 27 November 2024.
Business, Government and the International Economy: economic, political, and regulatory environment in which business operates. Closing date for applicants completing or having completed a Ph.D. in history with research interests in political economy, business-government relations, business history, economic policy, international economics, or economic development: 21 October 2024. Closing date for applicants completing or having completed a Ph.D. in economics, especially with research interests in macroeconomics, international trade and finance, public economics, political economy, environmental economics and/or development: 11 November 2024.
Entrepreneurial Management: entrepreneurial leadership and organization; emerging industries and technologies; innovation; or financing ventures and growth. Closing date for applicants with background in management, organization theory, sociology, psychology, or strategy: 15 October 2024. Closing date for applicants with background in economics or finance: 15 November 2024.
Finance: corporate finance, capital markets, investments, behavioral finance, corporate governance, and financial institutions. Closing date: 15 November 2024.
Negotiation, Organizations and Markets: negotiation, decision making, behavioral economics, incentives, the motivation and behavior of individuals in organizations, and the design and functioning of markets. Closing date for applicants with a background in judgment and decision making, negotiation, social psychology, and/or organizational behavior: 20 September 2024. Closing date for applicants with a background in economics: 15 November 2024.
Organizational Behavior: micro- and macro- organizational behavior. The unit welcomes diverse theoretical and disciplinary perspectives, including organizational behavior, organization studies, management, sociology, psychology, and industrial relations, among others. Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae, research and teaching statement, three letters of reference, and up to three representative publications or working papers. Closing date: 18 September 2024.
Strategy: business unit strategy; corporate, global, and non-market strategy; technology strategy; strategy process and implementation; economics of strategy, competition, and competitive advantage. Closing date for applicants in management or business administration: 18 September 2024. Closing date for applicants with background in economics: 15 November 2024.
Technology and Operations Management: empirical operations management; new product development; economics and management of innovation; economics of information technology; digital transformation; applied AI/data science and analytics in business contexts; and supply chain management. Applicants should either be planning to receive their Ph.D. in the current academic year or have recently graduated with a Ph.D. (preferably within the last three (3) years). Applicants should submit a current curriculum vitae, job market paper, research statement, teaching statement, copies of other publications and working papers, and three letters of recommendation. Closing date: 15 October 2024.
Harvard Business School recruits new faculty for positions entailing case method teaching at the graduate and executive program levels. Applicants for tenure-track positions should have a doctorate or terminal degree in a field specified above, or related discipline, by the time the appointment begins and strong demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research at the forefront of their fields.
