To provide support to the Institute Manager including, but not limited to, coordinating events, organization of operational documentation, and communications with internal constituents and external vendors.

  • Associate degree, or 3 years’ experience of office support with a high level of autonomy.

Description

Project/Program Coordination
  • Supports manager with planning, coordinating, and over-sight of projects and special events related to programs.
  • Compiles CompX, Travel, Scholar and Prize Grants applications, including implementation of guidelines and assisting grantees.
  • Files reimbursements and payments for programs and events.
  • Requests grantee and honorarium payments.
  • Communicates grantee balances monthly.

General Office Support
  • Prepares a wide variety of materials such as correspondence, reports, handouts, etc., proofreading to ensure accuracy.
  • Assists the manager with orientation for new staff and visitors to Dartmouth and the community.

  • Manages the details of the operations calendar to ensure timely communications and support to constituents, manager, and Director.

  • Coordinates, attends, and participates in various events as requested by manager.
  • Gathers information for meetings and events, coordinates items for agenda, and distributes material to participants prior to meetings.
