Job Description:
Brown University’s online Master of Public Health (MPH) in the School of Public Health (SPH) aims to open opportunities for new types of learners and train more of tomorrow’s public health leaders to improve the health of people domestically and around the world. The online MPH is geared for non-traditional adult learners, working professionals, and international students. The extension of the MPH program to online students fortifies SPH’s commitment to expanding the socioeconomic and racial/ethnic diversity of enrolled students and embodies the University’s mission to serve the community, nation, and world
The Administrative Coordinator for Advising coordinates advising activities within the online MPH and Online Biostatistics and Health Data Sciences Programs including maintaining progress reports, organizing student progress meetings, speaking with students about standard program requirements, and providing administrative support for scheduling Core Advising sessions as needed. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating the standard program curricula, and monitoring the custom plans of study. This position also provides other academic and administrative support as needed and helps plan and execute the online program orientations and virtual commencement.
Job Qualifications:
Associates degree plus at least 3 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience. Experience in a university setting preferred.
