QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree including coursework in statistics required.
Experience: Prior experience working in higher education preferred. Ability to retrieve, analyze, and present data in meaningful formats (tables, charts, graphs) to various audiences. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Access, PowerPoint, Word, statistical software (SPSS, R, etc.), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Excellent attention to detail. Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyzes datasets of information using Excel, Access, and/or Statistical software.
Prepares and validates compliance reports and data submissions.
Prepares standard and custom reports for grant applications, grant evaluations, accreditation, and departments undergoing program review.
Retrieves and analyzes data from a variety of data sources using COGNOS and other SQL based query tools.
Creates and revises institutional interactive reports and dashboards; retrieves data from institutional interactive reports and dashboards.
Prepares reports analyzing survey results, student/faculty metrics, and/or benchmarking data.
Conducts special ad hoc data requests as needed.
Manages multiple priorities and high volumes of work.
Performs other duties as needed.
