Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology (80838)

The University of Florida is currently accepting applications for a clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology. This is a 12-month non-tenure accruing position with teaching, supervision, and administration as primary responsibilities within an APA-accredited and CAEP/NASP-approved School Psychology Program.

Experience in training and supervision of practicum students in school psychology is desirable. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to supervise graduate student field-based experiences, teach applied graduate courses in school psychology, develop and oversee school-based and clinical practicum opportunities, serve on Education Specialist and Doctor of Philosophy advisory committees, and serve on program, school, college, and university committees. Opportunities also exist for scholarship and program leadership.

This 12-month faculty appointment will begin in August, 2022. Salary is negotiable, competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The School Psychology Program is housed within the School of Special Education, School Psychology, and Early Childhood Studies in the College of Education. • An earned doctorate in school psychology or closely related field
• Licensure (or license eligible) as a psychologist in Florida
• Certification (or certification eligible) as a school psychologist in Florida
• A record of applied practical experience working with diverse and underserved children and youth in schools and/or clinical settings
• Commitment to supporting and mentoring diverse undergraduate and/or graduate students to add to the diversity of the field
