The Assistant Director for Student Involvement is a member of the
Campus Life team, and reports directly to the Associate Director
for Student Involvement. The Assistant Director for Student
Involvement is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position in the
Division of Student Affairs.
This position supports 70+ Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), and serves as the primary contact for student involvement opportunities on campus. The Assistant Director for Student Involvement plays a pivotal role in enhancing and promoting a sense of belonging at UNC Asheville. As such, the Assistant Director will directly support the Involvement Ambassadors in the execution of signature campus life programs such as Homecoming, the Involvement Fair, and the Silent Pawction, and other campus-wide involvement-related events.
As a member of the Campus Life and Division of Student Affairs teams, this position will uphold the values of the University mission, will focus on the importance of placing people first, and will have at the forefront of their thinking an intentional design for student learning.
