Summary

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Operations to assist with the division’s operational and financial needs. This position supports the entire division by assisting with insurance verification and approval, marketing efforts, and analyzing referring physician patterns for increased outreach opportunities.

Job Duties
  • Manages administrative calendar, coordinates meetings/events, and travel accommodations.
  • Oversees business development for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery which includes outreach tasks to increase division referrals, network integrity, referral capture, and physician relations.
  • Reviews and ensures budget control by managing faculty CME, travel and concur expense reports. Assist Division Administrator with budget development.
  • Assists Division Administrator with onboarding new staff, faculty, and observers.
  • Manages faculty credentialing, reappointments, licenses renewals.
  • Takes inventory of clinic supplies and order supplies as needed and order accordingly.
  • Ensures Division Faculty ongoing research protocols are kept up to date through training, re-credentialing.
  • May provide additional support to faculty and Division Administrator as needed.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
