The Opportunity:

The Director of the Center for International Programs and Services is seeking a dedicated International Student Coordinator. This crucial role involves advising F-1 and J-1 international students, managing immigration and visa services, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Additionally, the position serves as a back-up Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the ERAU J-1 exchange visitor program and supports the Director as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the ERAU Prescott F-1 visa program.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional work experience
  • Weekend and evening hours for special events and student programming. Travel to either the annual national NAFSA or regional NAFSA conferences may require weekend and evening hours.
  • Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies, look at challenges from a unique perspective, and support international education generally
  • Ability to monitor and effectively report progress towards articulated goals
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to the improvement of the student university experience
