Applications are being accepted for the creation of an Adjunct Shelf for the possible vacancies for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semester on the Adjunct Faculty staff of Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, New York.

Adjunct Instructor, Nursing HV-ADJ-8524Nurs SP25

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university; current New York State License to practice and three years nursing service experience; previous college or hospital teaching experience. Prior experience with simulation performance exams, simulation and D2L are preferred. Previous experience and/or desire to engage in distance learning initiatives is also preferred.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: This vacancy announcement is to identify qualified instructors in the field of Nursing who may be called upon to teach courses in the Nursing Program.

Provide instruction in Nursing Courses.
Evaluates student performance.

Participation on departmental, division wide, and College wide committee for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encourage and supported.

At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary is $1,340.00 per contact hour.
