Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing patrons with customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma plus six months of equivalent work experience or required course work/certification.

This is a continuous need-based recruitment.

Criteria

CRITERIA : The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed.   • Assists patrons with making racquetball reservations
  • Acts as cashier
  • Monitors the lobby, weight room, basketball court and racquetball courts.
  • Sells passes for the services rendered by the facility
  • Assists patrons by providing directions to other college buildings on campus.
  • Ensures that patrons are in their rightful areas
  • Ensures that patrons sign in
  • Ensures that every patron has the appropriate pass or paid the correct daily fee.
  • Answers phones
  • Registers patrons and collects appropriate fees
  • Verifies Natatorium passes
  • Performs clerical duties
  • Assists the Natatorium Assistant Manager
  • Performs data entry function for all receipts as required
  • Ensures accuracy of all passes, sales, attendance, and income records at the end of each shift
  • Performs related work as required
  • Assists patrons with scheduling and programing questions
Job Requirements

  1. Must be available to work Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  3. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
  4. A background investigation will be conducted prior to offer of employment. A signed authorization for release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
