ASSISTANT PROFESSOR BIOLOGY

Assistant Professor, Biology, Rhode Island College (Providence, RI): The Assistant Professor, Biology will teach introductory and upper level courses in Biology at Rhode Island College. Will engage in scholarly research and professional activities, taking an active role in curriculum development and other Departmental and College service activities. Will engage in creative and innovative teaching, advise students in course selection and registration, and evaluate and grade students’ class work and assignments. Will prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Will also participate in other academic activities in the Department that promote development and quality of scholarship at the college. Minimum Requirements: PhD or foreign equivalent in Biology or a closely related field.
