Full Stack Developer
Description
Middlebury College is seeking two full-time Full-Stack Developers. The Full-Stack Developer assists in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: analysis, architecture and design, code, documentation, testing, integration and implementation of applications that support and enhance the operational capabilities of our current and future enterprise systems. The Full-Stack Developer supports and manages applications and services for Middlebury and affiliated institutions.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of $63,009 to $78,787 per year. It is a hybrid position with a once a week requirement to be on-site and in-person on the Middlebury, VT campus.
We are hiring for two full time positions in this role. One position will focus on Development Operations, production support for integrations and identity management. One position will focus on integrations support, troubleshooting scripting languages like powershell, bash and python and integration platforms and tools. Core Responsibilities:
- Works with team members to ensure reliable, consistent and
resilient operations of Middlebury's enterprise administrative
tools and services.
- Analyzes Middlebury's technical applications to ensure
solutions fit Middlebury's technical vision while meeting client
goals.
- Partners with a business analyst to drive operational
efficiencies by analyzing business processes
- Assists with analysis of data within relational
databases
- Develops technical specifications from business requirements
for day-to-day work
- Assist with developing technical specifications for system
implementations and large institutional projects
- Research new software and tool features, create training
materials or communications to assist workgroup manager
- Provides quality assurance (QA) plans or testing for solutions developed for clients

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or
equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a technical field emphasizing
software development, data analysis, business management or
technical project management
- Higher education experience is desirable
- Some knowledge of the principles and best practices of
enterprise resource planning, enterprise reporting, and enterprise
database applications
- Solid communication and planning skills
- Experience developing presentations or other materials to
communicate information
- Verifiable experience with a variant of SQL is required

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
