Assistant Athletic Trainer

Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer in Sports Medicine.

The candidate would be expected to: assist with providing athletic training services for all student-athletes within the Athletics department - specific team assignments may vary from year to year; serve as a liaison with the strength and conditioning coaches in the rehabilitation of student-athletes, particularly over the summer months; assist with the maintenance of training room supplies.

This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

  • Bachelor’s degree or obtain by date of employment.



  • Current New Jersey State Athletic Trainer licensure or eligible for license and able to obtain within six months of employment.

  • NATABOC certified or obtain license by date of employment.

  • Must be able to travel, work weekends and in all types of weather.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
