PURPOSE
The Client Technologies Analyst I, under general supervision, performs routine client technology support functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Area 1: Support
Percent Effort: 50%
- Diagnoses and repairs hardware/software failures and conflicts.
Installs, upgrades, and configures hardware and software.
Facilitates new computer setups, including application and data
transfers, and user account information.
- Utilizes complex software tools to maintain, configure, define
security, and monitors desktop computer life cycle.
- Establishes configuration baselines and maintains systems
within defined parameters.
- Monitors and maintains system security. Provides protection and
recovery support for client data.
Functional Area 2: Operations
Percent Effort: 40%
- Tracks and assists in the coordination of equipment repair work
order assignments and provides detailed work records, which
outlines the history of tests, performance problems, and repairs
for each piece of equipment.
- Provides consultative and technical services, in general, as a
qualified manufacturer's sales representative.
- Assists in the training and coordination of tasks for student
workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Functional Area 3: Research
Percent Effort: 10%
- Attends training, assists in researching, testing, and
disseminating operation instructions. Assists with the evaluation
of new technologies to determine their applicability to clients'
needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Four (4) months of related experience.
- Additional experience may be considered as a substitution for
the minimum education requirement:
- High School Diploma & 4 years and 4 months of related
experience.
- High School Diploma & 4 years and 4 months of related
experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A+, Network +, Security + certification.
SALARY $43,888 - $47,667 Annually Approx.
- Monthly $3,657.33 - $3,972.25 (Dependent upon education and
experience.)
