Job Description
Providence College’s baccalaureate program in Biology seeks candidates for a one-year full-time visiting faculty position beginning in August 2024. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and/or experience with engaging diverse students both in the classroom and potentially through collaborative research experiences. The successful candidate will teach upper-level courses in Microbiology with Lab, non-majors course in microbiology and Human Biology. Opportunities to teach other upper level courses, as well as General Biology for biology majors are possible. Providence College offers a competitive salary, and the position includes health and dental insurance benefits. Candidates with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology and genomics are also encouraged to apply.
The Salary for this position is $70-72K.

Applicants are required to have a Ph.D., a strong commitment to undergraduate education, and be able to foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty.
