Job Summary:

This position performs a variety of administrative office duties.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, email, and Canva. Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of people.
  • Must be self-motivated and sign confidentiality agreements.
Abilities:
  • Must be able to communicate with faculty, staff and students, work well independently and with others.
  • Ability be able to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to operate a computer and/or other office equipment.
  • May occasional lift light to medium weight items, with or without assistance.
  • Work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards.
  • Considerable time may be spent working at a computer.
Essential Duties:
  1. Communicate with faculty, staff and students.
  2. Work well independently and with others.
  3. Provide support working in a shared Google Drive folder.
  4. Weekly 30-minute Zoom sessions to discuss remote tasks to be handled
  5. Follow instructions and other duties as they arise.
