Job Summary:
This position performs a variety of administrative office duties.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
- Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, email, and Canva. Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of people.
- Must be self-motivated and sign confidentiality agreements.
- Must be able to communicate with faculty, staff and students, work well independently and with others.
- Ability be able to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to operate a computer and/or other office equipment.
- May occasional lift light to medium weight items, with or without assistance.
- Work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards.
- Considerable time may be spent working at a computer.
- Communicate with faculty, staff and students.
- Work well independently and with others.
- Provide support working in a shared Google Drive folder.
- Weekly 30-minute Zoom sessions to discuss remote tasks to be handled
- Follow instructions and other duties as they arise.
