Position Summary:
The individual will perform synthesis of new and useful inorganic/organic compounds; contribute to group social & professional activities; participate in campus social activities; travel to several U.S. locations for research purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD Chemistry

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a group.
• Experience with standard spectroscopic methods and interpretation of the data.
• Exhibit good safety practices at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with peptide synthesis and synthesis at scale along with relevant separation and analytical techniques (NMR, Mass-Spectrometry, etc.)
• Deep understanding of multi-step and/or peptide synthesis.
