Job Summary/Basic Functions

The HR Generalist I is responsible for managing the HR onboarding process, the volunteer program, supporting the student employment program, completing employment processing and deadlines, maintaining compliance, delivering presentations and training as needed, and assisting the HR Operations Assistant Director in organizational effectiveness efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Certification or graduation from a four (4) year college or university.

Experience: Previous experience in HR preferred.

Job Duties:

• 25% - Manages the HR onboarding process and provides process improvement recommendations. - ()
• 20% - Manages the volunteer program and provides process improvement recommendations. - ()
• 20% - Supports the student employment program, which includes the delivery of presentations and training. - ()
• 15% - Coordinates, processes, interprets and audits human resources or payroll transactions. - ()
• 15% - Acts as a liaison between employees and/or departments. - ()
• 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and projects as assigned. - ()
