Description
The primary responsibility is to teach large, required courses (MSE 2100: Introduction to Materials Science, MSE 3190: Materials Processing, MSE 4150: Introduction to Polymer Science and Engineering, etc.) and to serve as lead instructor for the MSE Undergraduate laboratory. Candidates are expected to strive for excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise. The successful candidate should also be able to both run experimental activities in a lab and teach in a conventional classroom setting (e.g., Materials Synthesis and Characterization Laboratory courses).
Qualifications
Candidates should have an M.S. or Ph.D. in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, or related disciplines.
