Position Overview

Provide operational support and assistance to the summer camps currently underway by the Talent Search Central Connect, Upward Bound Central Prep, and Upward Bound Math Science programs for summer 2024.

The summer camp program will complete on Aug. 1, 2024.

Job Duties

Operational support and assistance for the summer camp programing will be within one of the following areas:

Classroom Facilitation:
  • Classroom curriculum facilitation of Nucleus Robotics Course
  • Showing students instructional videos and leading discussions
Student Transportation:
  • Drive a 15-passenger van or 7 passenger minivan/SUV paid for by the program
  • Transport students from homes/high schools to UCO and return
  • Transport students to activities and Thursday field trips
General Support
  • Deliver documents materials to classroom instructors
  • Work with TRIO General office staff to make copies, prepare handouts
  • Make frequent trips across campus
Experience/Qualifications Required

General education or vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to operate a typical motor vehicle.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability and skill to communicate effectively in the classroom for classroom facilitation.

Knowledge of general office machine skills, coping, filing, paper cutting.
