Associate/Professor of Physical Education

Limestone University invites applications for the 9-month, tenure-track position of Associate/Professor of Physical Education starting January 2022. The primary responsibilities of the person who occupies this position will include teaching undergraduate courses related to kinesiology and serving as a Department Chair. Coursework to be taught annually will include Measurement and Evaluation in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Motor Behavior, Human Performance Lab, Sport Psychology, and Kinesiology. The department includes the following programs: Physical Education (General, Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, Teacher Education), Early Childhood, and Elementary Education.

The position also includes committee work, student advising, student recruitment, and other contributions to the academic life of the University. A Doctorate in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related field; college teaching experience; and leadership experience at the department level are required.
