Job Description
Reports to: The Coordinator of the Dance Program reports to the Director of the Graduate and Undergraduate Dance Program.Job Description: The Coordinator provides administrative support for the graduate and undergraduate Dance Program and is responsible for the efficient operation of this office and program.
Essential Duties Summary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Dance Program office. This includes working with the program director, faculty, and students as well as working with staff in other departments on campus.
- Helping to manage the day-to-day running of the Dance Program. This includes helping with faculty and student communication, scheduling rooms and meeting spaces, assisting in the implementation of program policies, and completing and filing of various forms.
- Helping to plan and manage events and activities related to the programs, including admission and recruitment-related events and activities.
- Assisting the Registrar with course scheduling and assignments; updating student/academic records and registering all students each semester using JENZABAR EX 5.
- Completing budget and finance-related tasks.
