Typically has supervisory responsibility for employees. Responsible for the planning, scheduling and completion of work flow.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the management, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise CRM platforms, including but not limited to Slate for Admissions and Slate for Student Success. Lead the multi-year project to implement Slate for Student Success and participate on the project steering committee.

 

Plan and manage the administration of CRM Platforms, including new product features and customization to meet requirements, and provide consultative guidance to colleagues and campus constituents related to CRM features, requests, and issues.

 

Employ IT project and request procedures to manage incoming requests and coordinate implementation efforts with staff responsible for the operational support of CRM applications used in Admissions, Athletics, Financial Aid, Graduate Studies, and the Nav Center for Student Success.

 

Coordinate with Marketing and Communications & Media Relations to support their use of CRM platforms to communicate with various constituents using a variety of channels.

 

Evaluate and recommend CRM integrations and ancillary software like Axiom for data transfer. Oversee the resolution of platform problems and work with vendors to resolve issues.

 

Establish procedures and standards for configurations, data management, naming, and documentation.

 

Monitor and ensure compliance with college policies including FERPA, security, access, and other IT procedures.

 

Participate in the preparation of and response to business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

 

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of: enterprise CRM applications; coding tools and languages; Banner Student, Admissions, and Financial Aid systems; information security; and technology directions.

 

Respond to technical emergencies outside of normal working hours as needed.

 

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of significant experience with CRM applications is required; degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field is preferred.

Three years of experience managing a CRM platform is required; experience with Technolutions Slate is preferred.

Experience with the Ellucian Banner suite is preferred.

Demonstrated experience with SQL, HTML, and CSS is required.

Demonstrated experience leading and managing IT projects is required.
