Professor of Practice in Kinesiology/Sport Studies

The Professor of Practice in Kinesiology will be required to teach coursework in the interdisciplinary master’s program in Sport Studies and contribute to the undergraduate programs in health & wellness and exercise science.  The Sport Studies program is an online master’s degree where students can choose from interdisciplinary areas of Sport Administration, Sport Coaching, Sport Security and Sport Medicine.  The successful candidate will be qualified to teach in the areas of Sport Coaching (Sport Psychology, Strength & Conditioning, Stages of Athletic Development, Sport Nutrition) or Sport Administration (Marketing & Finance, Fundraising and Capital Development, Ethical & Legal Issues, Sport Media and Communication).  Additionally, the candidate will be required to work closely with interdisciplinary colleagues from the Center for Sport, School of Medicine and other units that will be part of the interdisciplinary master’s degree. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the Kinesiology program in curriculum development and oversight of the Sport Studies program.
