QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of leadership in a supervisory or foreman role, having supervised or directed at least a staff of 10 employees.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for oversight of various Operations Services Section operations including managing first shift custodial operations; set-up crew operations encompassing event coordination and drayage operations; uniform issuance; and campus signage. Through subordinate foremen plans and directs housekeeping with customers present; prepares buildings for set ups and customer events and other related functions and activities and manages campus signage requirements and installation. Ensures cleanup of space after event usage. Through directive of Operations Manager, works to oversee overtime is clearly posted when needed.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Facilitates Management Division provides building and grounds services including but not limited to: Campus Architectural Services, Construction Management, Maintenance, Operations Services/Shipping and Receiving, Roads and Grounds, Sustainability and Utilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to Operations Manager, this position wears many hats. This position does not have budget authority. The Operations Supervisor will handle all disciplinary in supporting the College directive and expectation. In support of having all staff follow College processes, the Supervisory role will work closely with the foreman from 2nd, swing and 3rd shifts. This is a salaried position and as such the schedule for this position is compensated for time above 40 hours per week.
